Home Haven - Safe Mandolin Slicer

I’ve owned a couple of mandilones. This one appealed to me because of the safety features. I had an accident with another style which left me weary of using it. This exceeded my expectations. The precision of cutting extremely thin slices is impressive in comparison to any other gadget I own (I have them all😊). I included a picture of the different widths I was able to achieve. There are more, but I didn’t show them. It is Easy to clean, store and set up. I rarely leave reviews, but I’m so impressed with this product that I had to do one. I haven’t used the Juliene feature yet, but I’m sure it will impress me just as much.

I LOVE this product! The reviews were interesting when I was choosing one to buy, and I don't have any of the issues that some people stated, such as "hard to clean" or "hard to slice". I have been using this for a few weeks now, and it's make slicing ANY of my veggies a breeze. I ultimately chose to buy this one because of the 30+options for slicing. I love that my hands are safe, it's super simple to slice large quantities of veggies in very little time. If you clean it right after you use it, it's so incredibly easy to clean. The unit seems very stable and well made overall. Exceeded expectations for sure! I give this product 10 stars!

Previous to this one, I had amandoline that sliced veggies really great....including my fingers. Yes, you heard it!, I had a couple accidents with bad cuts. When I say bad cuts, I'm talking about slicing the ends of my fingers with nails and all, really, really, painful.

After my second time slicing the tip of my finger (see second pic) I found this mandoline, OMG! THIS IS THE ANSWER I WAS LOOKING FOR, it cuts nice and clean, it has different settings, is quick, even with some of the prep needed to fit veggies on the gravity fed, is way faster and easier than slice, mince, or dice every piece. Unless you are an experienced chef with those fast skills to chop veggies, you won't get results this much faster and effortless, and honestly those food processors are better for salsas but not to chop and dice in little cubes. I've tried all.

OMG!! If I could give this chopper a 20-STAR REVIEW, I would!!! Exactly 3 weeks ago yesterday, I ended up in the emergency room with a gruesome injury on my right, which of course is my dominant hand, thumb from my regular mandoline. I won't go into a lot of gory detail, but 3 weeks in it's still wrapped in bandages and gauze, and I still can't put any pressure on my thumb. I'm getting pretty tired of only having one non-dominant hand to use... The doctor said it will take 10 weeks to heal, i.e., for the skin to grow back. Sorry. 🤮 I got my Dash Safeslice Mandoline yesterday, and I just used it today to slice up my yellow squash, which I do about 5 days a week, for my baked yellow squash chips. This appliance is an absolute game changer!!!!! It is worth every single solitary penny I just paid for it!!! Neither hand is anywhere at all near the blade, and it worked like a charm!!! I could not be any happier. It's faster slicing than a regular mandoline too, and you're not worrying about cutting off a digit the whole time! I also used to end up throwing out a lot of large pieces of vegetables, because I was afraid of getting too near the blade on the regular mandoline. In my honest opinion? You should only be allowed to purchase a standard mandolin if you are a professional chef. The doctor at the emergency room said they see more injuries from mandolins and bagel slicers than any other kitchen appliance. I'm going to sing the praises of this chopper far and wide!!! THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

It looks intimidating at first but once you get used to it, you will wonder how you lived without one. Consistent cuts helps everything cook evenly and look wonderful.

Came a whole well-packed without defects has not yet had time to test it as it copes then add a review.

Excellent arrived way ahead of time, but I bought it to only make chips which is way to thin hence the 4 stars
